Tips for the right clothing for special occasions.

  • Choose outerwear that makes both your entire outfit and your face shine.

  • If possible, wear a white or light blue shirt under a dark top. This creates a harmonious overall look.

  • Single or double cuffs, color-matched or in contrasting white – the latter for particularly elegant occasions, but also wearable in everyday life as a sign of personal elegance.

  • Pay attention to the fit that best suits your figure.

  • Avoid very tight or very voluminous clothing. It's very important to know which cut suits you best and shows off your proportions to their best advantage. Balance is always your best ally.

  • The two-button version is the most common for the sleeves.

  • 3 buttons, single-breasted, double-breasted – a little more elegant, a little more understated.

  • Sleeve length: one centimeter shorter than the shirt cuff.

  • The bottom button on jackets and vests should always remain undone. This creates a dynamic look and freedom of movement.

  • Suit in a dark or medium color. Avoid light colors for tailored suits, except for outdoor daytime events and during the summer season. Beige or white only for strict dress codes.

  • Avoid very aggressive color combinations. It's okay to include some contrast, but don't mix more than two colors.

  • Use the shoes as a distinctive element.

  • Avoid clichés and short-lived fashion trends without sacrificing your own style and comfort.

  • Additional leather accessories should always match the outfit. Belts or suspenders should always match the shoes.

  • Always choose shirts with stiff collars. They give the outfit more structure and a better fit.

  • Always choose an Italian collar for your tie.

  • Avoid button-down collars and collars without interlining, as well as overly thick fabrics that are unsuitable for tailored suits. Fil-à-fil, twill, and poplin are just a few suitable examples.

  • Wear natural fabrics. Be careful with synthetics, as they are not very breathable and can cause both physical and visual discomfort.

  • When choosing a tie, if necessary, please observe the following recommendations:

  • Always choose a fabric, weight, and pattern that are appropriate for the occasion. For a shirt with narrow lapels, choose a slightly narrower tie.

  • If the tie is narrow, tie a simple knot without much volume. Windsor – a half-Windsor knot with a large knot.

  • The Pratt knot with an additional loop gives the knot a little more volume and therefore more presence.

  • Depending on body size, it should be noted that the optimal length of the tie connects the lower angle with the belt buckle.

  • For taller people, the Oriental knot is the best choice. It allows the end of the tie to be lengthened by a few centimeters.

  • When it comes to accessories or jewelry, you should avoid exaggeration or an overly conspicuous presentation. Here too, and in this case exceptionally, simplicity and restraint define the style.

  • Wear a classic watch. Avoid wearing smartwatches with tailored suits.
